Oohs and aahs filled the room Thursday at the Women's Civic Club of Katonah's Memorial House as local ladies strutted their stuff in everything from casual wear to evening gowns.
Club members say the event is the organization's most popular, and it's been happening for more than 10 years.
"Our fashion show, unlike the ones of Paris and Milan, feature women of all shapes," member Jean Goldsmith said before stepping up to the microphone to act as emcee.

All of the featured items may be found—while they last—at the Katonah Thrift Shop, which the club runs. The money raised there goes to a host of charities, as well as educational endeavors the organization supports.
Scores of women from Bedford, Katonah and beyond attended the event, which was part of a luncheon and regular meeting.
