After the success of last year's inaugural event, the Friends of Pound Ridge promise twice as many features this year for twice as much fun.
POUND RIDGE, NY — There's no need to head out of town this weekend now that the pop-up waterpark is coming back this year.
After last year's inaugural event, the Friends of Pound Ridge promise twice as many features this year for twice the amount of fun.
The festivities this year at Pound Ridge Town Park will include the Big Kahuna, the 2-lane Monster Wave, the 2-lane Roaring River, the Fire-N-Splash, the Blue Crush, the Super Splashdown, extra-long slip-n-slides, fire engine waterworks, a Little Ones Pool Hop and more.

The slippery good times start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, but the party will begin to deflate at 4 p.m.

Kids 5 and up are $10 ($15 at the "door"), while parents and kids under 5 are free. Pre-registration is requested to ensure admission and help in planning.
The Market at Pound Ridge Square will be selling burgers and hot dogs, hot off the grill. The Kitchen Table will be offering up beer, wine, crudité cups and more. DiNardo's Ristorante Italian will be serving up fresh pizza by the slice.
Parking will be limited to Pound Ridge Town Park and Townhouse. Since a complete sellout is expected, PRPD asks that residents consider carpooling. No parking will be permitted on side streets.
