KATONAH, NY — You can pick the perfect pumpkin this weekend at Muscoot Farm.

Pumpkin Picking Weekend returns to Muscoot Farm this year, where families will be able to select their perfect pumpkins, take a hay ride, hear live music and visit the farm animals. The event will take place from Saturday, Oct. 11 through Monday, Oct. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

"Muscoot Farm's Pumpkin Picking Weekend is one of Westchester County's most beloved fall events," Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "The event fully encompasses autumn, featuring quintessential activities like hay rides and seasonal live music, as well as culinary fall favorite: cider doughnuts. It's a celebration that brings families and friends together to enjoy the beauty and traditions of the season."

A variety of pumpkins will be available for purchase, with prices depending on size. Cider doughnuts will be on sale and Muscoot Farm's concession stand will be open all weekend long. Hay rides are $5 per person, with children under age 3 riding for free. Forms of payment accepted are cash, credit card, Venmo, and PayPal.

Muscoot's weekly Farmers Market will also be open on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

"The staff at Muscoot Farm take pride in creating welcoming, family-friendly events such as the Pumpkin Picking Weekend," Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O'Connor said. "From hay rides and games to visits with the farm animals, every detail is planned to make this event a true celebration of everything that makes fall so special."
