Scouting America Shines at Lewisboro Library Fair

Local Troops Showcase Skills and Community Spirit at Annual Event

This past weekend, the Lewisboro Library Fair at Onatru Farm was made even more special thanks to the contributions of local Scouting America troops. Scouts from three different troops showcased their skills and provided entertainment for fairgoers of all ages.

Troop 154 Lewisboro/Goldens Bridge demonstrated their mastery of traditional scouting techniques by lashing together a impressive 30-foot flagpole. The troop also ran an educational ice rescue station, where they taught both children and adults the crucial skill of throwing a rescue line.

The Kids Zone was a hub of activity, thanks to Troop 301 Katonah/Lewisboro. These scouts managed the popular face painting station and supervised the bouncy castles, ensuring a fun and safe environment for the youngest fair attendees.

Following the day's events, Cub Scout Pack 154 camped out on the fair grounds enjoying a fun filled evening under the stars.
