Sun and Fun in the Name of Sustainability

The third annual Katonah Lewisboro Sustainability and Wellness Fair was held last Saturday.

The third annual Katonah Lewisboro Sustainability & Wellness Fair took place under fair skies last weekend, and brought teachers, students and families together to celebrate and promote health, wellness and sustainability in education.

The district-wide effort showcased elementary student learning through projects such as planting colonial herbs in recycled bottles, repurposing tee shirts for homemade tote bags, and a live composting demonstration.

School garden clubs shared their bounty, high schoolers shared their musical talents and sustainable art displayed themes related to preserving natural resources.
