'Suspicious' Fire In Bedford Hills Being Investigated: Police

BEDFORD, NY — The Bedford Police Department says that on Thursday morning, around 7 a.m., officers responded to a McLain St. home in Bedford Hills after a report of a suspicious fire.

Police say that the fire was soon contained and extinguished. No injuries were reported and no property was damaged.

The Bedford PD Detective Division was called to the scene. During their investigation, the road was shut down for several hours.

Police say that this seems to have been an isolated incident, and that there was no threat to the public.

Bedford police say that additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
