Commuters, residents and business owners may experience temporary disruptions to traffic and access as paving operations are underway. Residents and business patrons are asked to not park for long durations on these streets during paving. Traffic control personnel will be on hand to direct people where to park in the business districts. Residents are also asked to not put out leaf bags, etc. out on the pavement for pick-up prior to paving as it will interfere with the paving progress.
The paving work will be dependent on both weather conditions, the paving equipment and unforeseen circumstances, which may push back the schedule by a few days. The town says that your patience and understanding are appreciated.
The Bedford Public Works Department can be contacted at 914-666-7669 or via email for any questions.
Any roads that cannot be completed in 2022 will be scheduled for paving next year.
