Vote Lipton, Treyz and Stone

Dear Editor:

While I applaud Mr. Holbrook's willingness to put his hat in the ring, he does not have the extensive experience or financial background of the three leading candidates for KL school board, Mr. Lipton, Dr. Treyz, and Richard Stone.    

Though he came to the party a little late, Mr. Lipton has grown in his job as leader of the Board of Education and understands the critical issues that must be decided over the next few years.

No one has more institutional knowledge or is more invested in the district in children and grandchildren than Dr. Treyz. He has been the steady if not often listened to voice of reason. I'm sure he is not overjoyed at how prescient his predictions have turned out to be.  

Richard Stone is a member of the hard-working group of residents who developed the FACE. Report. He has the financial background the board needs and he understands what quality in education means.   This is a critical juncture for the district. Vote Lipton, Treyz and Stone for the future of the district.
