Fire and Ice Skate-a-Thon

Where/When: Westchester Skating Academy (91 Fairview Park Dr. Elmsford) on Friday, March 15 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Why go: Organized by Briarcliff High School's Nikki Metzger, the 6th annual skate-a-thon will raise funds for the Dysautonomia Youth Network of America. If you donate at least $25, your admission, skate rentals and a cup of hot chocolate are free. Table Tennis Friendship Tournament

Where/When: Westchester Table Tennis Center on Saturday, March 16 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Why go: Pleasantville's table tennis venue is hosting the International Table Tennis Federation’s International Women's Day Celebration to celebrate the accomplishments of women and girls in the world of table tennis. Both men and women are welcome. Donations benefit Hope's Door in Pleasantville. Competitions will be held in three categories: girls 14 and under, ladies 50 and over and women's open (ages 15 to 49). Wear pink for photos! Food, clothing and toiletry donations are being collected for Hope's Door.
