What's Open on Sunday?

Local businesses were humming on Saturday, with residents stocking up on supplies and preparing for power outages for a day, or more. Tyler added that tarps, cords and general hardware for unexpected, makeshift repairs were in plentiful supply. Thought they were out of D, C and lantern batteries, they had double and triple A batteries and fuel for portable cook stoves.

Boutiques like , and specialty food shops like Sgaglio's have opted to close. But local supermarkets are aiming to open on time, barring any power outages. As of 8 p.m. on Saturday, none had plans to close tomorrow.
