This 'Willy Wonka' Experience Promises To Live Up To The Hype
The curtain will soon rise on John Jay Middle School's spring musical, "Willy Wonka" and you might even have a golden ticket waiting.

CROSS RIVER, NY — Attempting to capture the magic of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory has led to some disappointment in recent history, but thanks to the talented students at John Jay Middle School, that will all soon be forgotten.
The show features 52 students and thanks to the parents who came and helped paint sets on Sundays (and some enchantment from the candyman), this version of the story will taste good for a few hours while the stage comes alive with song, laughs and chocolate.
John Jay Middle School presents "Willy Wonka" on Thursday, March 21, through Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, and are available at the door.
