NORTH BELLMORE, NY — A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a mini school bus took place on Thursday morning, snarling traffic on Newbridge Road.

Police told Patch that there were no serious injuries, although Newsday said six people were taken to the hospital.

It happened near the Stop & Shop at the intersection with Jerusalem Road at 7 a.m., Newsday reported.

Photos show a Walmart truck overturned with cases of water on the asphalt.

Firefighters, EMS and the county fire marshal's Hazardous Materials Division responded, Newsday said.
