2. Rick Lavoie, a motivational speaker and an advocate for children with learning disabilities, will speak at East Meadow High School at 7 p.m. Lavoie is known for his video, “F.A.T. City,” as well as his books, “The Motivation Breakthrough” and “It’s so Much Work to be Your Friend.”
