Bellmore-JFK Student Semifinalist For $20,000 Scholarship

BELLMORE, NY — A Kennedy High School senior is in the running for a prestigious scholarship.

Dylan Bazelnov is a semifinalist for the 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Program award.

Bazelnov is among a select group, in the top two percent of students chosen from across the country.

Applicants are evaluated based on community and leadership skills, academic achievements and service.

This is an achievement-based award with 150 finalists nationwide receiving $20,000 scholarships. Finalists will be notified in late January.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation was launched in 1986. More than $3 million in scholarships are handed out to students each year.
