Bellmore-Merrick Seniors To Participate In Narcan Training

BELLMORE, NY — Seniors in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High District can learn how to use Narcan (naloxone).

Throughout the school day on Wednesday, June 4, students can participate in a training session at their high schools.

Naloxone quickly reverses the effect of opioids, restoring normal breathing within minutes.

At the informative session, the 12th graders will receive a free Narcan kit upon completing the training.

This initiative is part of the district’s ongoing efforts to promote health, safety, and awareness in the school community.
