The Bristal Assisted Living at Bethpage Welcomes Residents

Residents Welcomed as The Bristal Continues to Meet the Needs of the Growing Senior and Aging Population on Long Island

The Bristal Assisted Living has opened its twenty-fourth community and tenth in Nassau County at 1075 Stewart Avenue in Bethpage. Rates for The Bristal at Bethpage will start at $6500 a month.

The Bristal at Bethpage has 152 apartments which includes 40 apartments located in the Reflections Memory Care neighborhood, which is dedicated to providing care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory related cognitive disorders.

Senior citizens have become the largest and fastest-growing segment of the U.S. population. The United States’ 65-and-over population has grown by over 15% in the last 15 years and now represents 13% of the U.S. population.

29% of Nassau and Suffolk residents are over age 55. Long Island has a higher share of adults over 55 than other suburban communities of New York.
