Collision In Nassau Sends Boy On Bicycle To Hospital: Police
It happened Thursday afternoon on Oakfield Avenue.
NORTH BELLMORE, NY — A crash in North Bellmore sent a 12-year-old to a hospital on Thursday afternoon, police said.
A 2020 Ford Econoline van driven by a 52-year-old man collided with a 2023 Jeep Cherokee heading northbound on Oakfield Avenue by S. Shelley Road.
As a result, a 12-year-old boy on a bicycle was struck by one of the vehicles, police said.

The boy was airlifted to a hospital in stable condition. The female driver of the Jeep was taken to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Police are investigating.
