Cops Respond to Reports of Shots Fired in North Bellmore

Nassau County Police are investigating reports of gun shots fired in North Bellmore Wednesday morning.

According to detectives, police officers responded to Olympia Road for a call of shots fired involving a Hispanic male riding a motorcycle that fled in a black auto leaving the motorcycle behind.

Upon police arrival the motorcycle was recovered and it was discovered that a Ford Explorer automobile parked had bullet holes in the wheel wells. 

The motorcycle that was left behind was a 2006 Suzuki Colt.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing. No further description of the suspect was available.
