Traffic is closed in both directions after a car overturned and knocked a utility pole into the road.
NORTH BELLMORE, NY — An crash has caused Jerusalem Avenue to be shut down in North Bellmore, Nassau County police said.
A car overturned and hit a utility pole and knocked it onto the roadway. Jerusalem Avenue is closed in both directions between Newbridge Road and Hamilton Road, police said.
The crash caused several homes in the area to lose power.
