Here’s Why Julianna Was Shouted Out As A Bellmore Star Student

We all know students who excel in academics, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Bellmore.

BELLMORE, NY — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

She is a student at our Learning Center

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

We think Julianna should be recognized as a Star Student because she is a hard-working student who works on balancing her studies with her sports and community service as an 11th grader. She comes to our Learning Center and works very hard on her studies as she prepares for AP Exams and SATs/ACTs. She plays softball and is working very hard with her team to get back to Counties. Julianna is very well-mannered and friendly; she is also there to provide a smile and hello!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Julianna is a well-rounded student who works hard and does her best!
