Kelly Appointed Bellmore School Board President
Trustee replaces Brian Desmond in board leadership position.
The Bellmore Board of Education has new leadership for the 2013/14 school year.
Maryanne Kelly was appointed to serve as president for the Bellmore school board during Tuesday night’s reorganization meeting. The position was previously held by Brian Desmond.
Trustee Janet Goller was also elected to the vice president position by the five-member board.

Kelly was elected to a second term on the Bellmore school board on May 21. She has served the past 12 years on th Bellmore PTA.
