Kennedy High School PTA Welcomes Members
The PTA explains how members can become more involved in the organization.

The Kennedy High School PTA is looking forward to the 2013-14 school year and extends a warm welcome to students, parents, faculty and staff.
The PTA plays an active role in students’ high school years, bringing together parents, teachers and staff to use their joint energies and power to advocate for improving the health and welfare of the students.
“We look forward to continuing to increase parent involvement and encourage positive parent/teacher relationships during this school year,” Robin Rabinowitz, PTA co-president said. “Kennedy High School has always fostered a positive working environment among parents, teachers and administrators, and the PTA is proud that our shared efforts and decision-making help us all to strengthen our goal of achieving the best education for our children.”
Working closely with the school’s administrators, teachers and support staff, the PTA provides various activities that benefit both students and the community. PTA programs held throughout the year include Reflections, Defensive Driving, community service fair, the senior fashion show and post-prom breakfast. In addition, each graduating senior receives a gift from the PTA as a memento of their high school experience. The PTA also makes monetary awards available to those students who qualify (PTA membership required).
The Kennedy High School PTA urges all parents to participate in its fundraisers throughout the year, so the organization can continue to give back to all the students at the school. A major fundraising effort is the sale of school merchandise and clothing, which is available all year long and at events like Back-To-School Night.
