"By sharing items we no longer need, we can help spark inspiration in someone else."

The event is presented by the Crafted with Love Knitting and Crocheting Group.

This event is geared to provide the creative community with access to craft materials without the cost, NBPL Director Jessica Tymecki said.
"NBPL prides itself on being the first Certified Sustainable Library in Nassau County, so we were thrilled when the Crafted with Love Knitting and Crocheting Group expressed interest in hosting a Craft Supply Swap," she said. "Events like these bring our community together while reducing waste and making creativity more accessible for everyone. By sharing items we no longer need, we can help spark inspiration in someone else — and that’s the heart of what a library is all about."
