Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries In Nassau Crash Last Month: Police

BELLMORE, NY — A motorcyclist, who collided with a bike rider last month in Bellmore, has died from his injuries, police said.

The victim identified as Richard Sorrentino, 34, of Queens, died on Friday, police said.

Sorrentino was hospitalized on Oct. 12 in critical condition after his motorcycle caught fire in the Sunrise Highway accident. He suffered severe trauma and burns, police said.

The bicyclist was brought to an area hospital with trauma injuries and was in stable condition at the time, police said.
