Suspect Uses Crowbar To Break Into Nassau Speedway, Swipe Cash: Police
He broke into the business at around 2:20 a.m. Thursday, then bolted toward South Street and Marks Avenue, Nassau police said.
BELLMORE, NY — A suspect used a crowbar was used to bust through the front door of Speedway in Bellmore early Thursday morning, Nassau police said.
The suspect, who is described as a male, used the implement at around 2:20 a.m. to break into the Merrick Road business to remove an undetermined amount of money from the cash register and then ran westbound towards South Street and Marks Avenue, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.

The suspect is described as wearing black pants, black shoes, a green mask, and a green winter jacket, according to police.
