Weekend Emergency Track Work To Alter Various LIRR Schedules
There will be only hourly Babylon branch trains throughout the day due to expected repairs between the Bellmore and Merrick stations.

BELLMORE, NY — The Long Island Railroad is planning emergency track repairs this weekend between the Bellmore and Merrick train stations.
The track work is leading to special timetables across the system, with the exception of the Port Washington branch.
A major change this weekend, the Babylon branch will be reduced to hourly trains between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the LIRR said in a statement.

As for other branches, some eastbound trains will depart Penn Station up to 3 minutes earlier than usual and customers on some westbound trains will have to make changes for connecting service west of Jamaica.
