Beat The Heat In Islip: Spray Parks And Swimming Pools

ISLIP, NY — As temperatures peak, community members are looking for ways to cool down. Luckily, the Town of Islip has a wide array of fun, family-friendly ways to cool off. Whether you're looking fun in the sun in a pool or at a spray park, Islip has residents and non-residents covered.

According to the town, residents may purchase a seasonal pool plan or pay a daily entrance fee.

Entrance fees at all pools and the spray park range from $60 to $225 for residents and $200 to $350 for non-residents. Daily pool passes are also available from $2 to $15 for residents and $30 for non-residents.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

SPRAY PARKS

The Town of Islip has one spray park to keep kids occupied and cool all summer.

Ship Wreck Cove Spray Park

• Hours: June 29-August 25: Daily from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

The Town of Islip has four pools open to Islip residents and non-residents.

Hidden Pond Pool

• Hours: Daily from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through August 23. From August 24 to September 2, the pool will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
