Brentwood Pastor Arrested, Charged By FBI With Child Pornography
The pastor was arrested after receiving an online tip that he was sexually active with children.

BRENTWOOD, NY — A Brentwood pastor was arrested and charged by the FBI on Thursday, after agents found numerous videos that contained child pornography on his phone.
After receiving an online tip reporting an individual being sexually active with minor children, FBI’s Long Island Child Exploitation Task Force executed a search warrant at the home of Jose Saez, Jr.’s home in Brentwood.
Saez is a pastor at Iglesia Cristiana Alumbrando El Camino Church, according to multiple reports.

Upon execution of the search warrant, agents conducted a cursory review of the subject’s cell phone and found numerous videos that contained child pornography.
Saez was arrested and charged with production of child pornography, a release said.

In addition to his role as a pastor, the father of three minor children, the FBI said.
"The production of child pornography is one of the most horrendous crimes we deal with in our society. It is even more concerning when the crime is allegedly committed by a leader in a local house of worship," said James Smith, Assistant Director in Charge of FBI New York. "The FBI is committed to protecting our children and working with our law enforcement partners to identify and apprehend predators who carry out these appalling crimes."
Saez also admitted that he engaged in similar conduct with other minors, according to the FBI, telling investigators, "I’m sorry that I cannot stop," News 12 reported. They also said the victim is a 16-year-old boy.
