Brentwood School District Celebrates AP Scholar Students
Fifty-one Brentwood High School students earned the prestigious title of AP Scholar.

BRENTWOOD, NY — Fifty-one Brentwood High School students were celebrated for their exceptional academic accomplishments during the board of education meeting on Nov. 21.
The students earned the prestigious title of AP Scholar, a recognition that highlights their academic excellence, dedication, and determination in advanced placement coursework and exams, the district said.
"This remarkable achievement reflects not only the dedication and perseverance of our students but also the unwavering support and guidance provided by our educators," said Superintendent of Schools Wanda Ortiz-Rivera. "We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the example they set for the entire Brentwood community."

In addition, the district celebrated a historic milestone. For the first time in Brentwood history, a student earned the distinguished AP Capstone Diploma, a recognition awarded to those who excel in the rigorous AP Capstone program, which emphasizes research, collaboration, and critical thinking.
