Long Island residents are voting on 2025-2026 school budgets. Here's everything you need to know before casting your vote in Central Islip.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Residents will decide on the Central Islip Union Free School District budget on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The final proposed 2025-2026 budget is $301,498,985, a 2.54 percent increase from last year's budget of $294,039,602.

This year's tax levy stands at an increase of 1.89 percent from $92,685,547 to $94,438,632.

Central Islip residents who have lived in the district for at least 30 days, who are U.S. citizens 18 years of age or older and who are currently and properly registered may vote.

Residents may cast their vote at Anthony Alfano Elementary School, located at 50 Wheeler Road in Central Islip.
