Dirt Bike Rider Critically Injured In Suffolk Crash: PD
The crash took place in Brentwood Sunday night, police say.
BRENTWOOD, NY — A dirt bike rider was critically injured in a Brentwood crash Sunday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place at the intersection of Ridgewood Avenue and Calebs Path at about 9:40 p.m.
Tonye Richardson, 20, of Central Islip, was operating a dirt bike and heading westbound on Ridgewood Avenue when he entered the intersection at Calebs Path and collided with a northbound 2018 Infiniti Q60, police said.

Richardson was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in critical condition, police said. The driver of the Infiniti, a 22-year-old from Central Islip, was not injured, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
