BRENTWOOD, NY — A fuel spill that occurred on I-495 near Brentwood on Monday morning closed several lanes, according to 511NY.

The incident occurred at 8:21 a.m., eastbound between Exit 53 - Sagtikos State Parkway, Wicks Road, County Route 7 and Exit 55 - Motor Parkway, County Route 67 (Islip).

The lanes have since been reopened.
