Islip Town Hosts Community Pool Party At Brentwood Park
The event will be held Thursday afternoon at Roberto Clemente Park and feature a DJ, ice cream, games and food trucks.
BRENTWOOD, NY —Families looking to beat the heat in the Town of Islip can head to Roberto Clemente Park in Brentwood today for a summer party. The park, with a spray park, brand new pool and skate park will host the town's "Family Fun Day," celebrating the township's 335th year anniversary.
The community pool party kicks off at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m. free hot dogs will be given out by Brentwood Fire Department. Food trucks are scheduled to arrive at 6 p.m.
A DJ and ice cream will also be on hand at the park, at 10 Noble St.

Admission to the pool will be free from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Family Fun Day will go until 8 p.m.
