School Supplies And Haircuts Offered At Brentwood Event
Senator Monica Martinez and Liga de Justicia Abogados are bringing free school supplies, barber services and more to Long Island.
BRENTWOOD, NY – School starts in a few weeks and that means parents will be scrambling to check items off of school supply lists.
To help students prepare for the new school year, New York State Senator Monica Martinez and legal firm Liga de Justicia Abogados have teamed up for their annual Brentwood school suppy distribution n Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus in Brentwood.
The event will offer more than classroom supplies. In addition to providing free backpacks and essential school supplies, students who attend can enjoy free barber services, fun activities, food, treats, music and much more.

Last year, the event helped more than 1,500 students receive school supplies.
The Knights of Columbus is located at 96 Second Ave. in Brentwood.
