Silver Alert: Man With Schizoaffective Disorder Reported Missing

The 33-year-old Brentwood man was reported missing by his family on Sunday.

BRENTWOOD, NY — Suffolk Police issued a Silver Alert on Monday for a missing Brentwood man with schizoaffective disorder.

Abimael Valenzuela, 33, was seen at his residence at the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center on 998 Crooked Hill Road, on May 15 at 3:50 p.m. He was reported missing by his family on May 16. He was last seen on May 17 in the Bronx.

Valenzuela is 5-foot-6 inches, 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is receiving treatment for cancer and may need medication.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Valenzuela’s location to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or call 911.
