Traffic Alert: 3 Days Of Cross County Parkway Closures Begin

The roadwork will stretch from the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Saw Mill River Parkway for the next three days.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is warning drivers about possible delays Monday through Wednesday.

The NYSDOT says that single and double lane closures, in each direction, along the Cross County Parkway, between the Hutchinson River Parkway in Eastchester to the Saw Mill River Parkway in Yonkers are scheduled, beginning Monday, April 29, through Wednesday, May 1, for roadwork. The work will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a drivers license suspension.
