Traffic Alert: Single And Double Lane Closures On Hutch This Week
Breaking: The Hutchinson River Parkway will see lane closures throughout the day for most of the week in Westchester County.
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Drivers who rely on one of the Hudson Valley's busiest roadways might want to dust off alternate routes this week.
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced that single and double lane closures are expected along the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound, between Exit 9C (Wilmot Rd.) in Eastchester and Exit 6 (East Lincoln Ave.) in the Village of Pelham, for construction work. The closures will start Tuesday, October 18 and continue through Thursday, October 20.

- Single lane closures: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Double lane closures: 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
