BROOKLYN, NY — Two young girls are recovering after being injured during a Brooklyn playground shooting Monday night, police said. A 9-year-old and 11-year-old girl were playing at the Hilltop Playground in Brownsville at around 9 p.m. when the shooting occurred, police said. The 9-year-old girl was shot in the right leg, while the 11-year-old girl was shot in the back, police said. The two victims are listed in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital, police said. Police are looking for two possible shooters. No arrests have been made as of Tuesday morning.
