7 Firefighters Injured Battling BK 4-Alarm Fire: FDNY
Officials said the Tuesday fire caused damage to four buildings in total. It was placed under control at 2:57 p.m.

BROOKLYN, NY — Seven firefighters were injured battling a 4-alarm fire that burned through multiple buildings in Bensonhurst on Tuesday, officials said.
Firefighters first responded to 2050 71st Street at about 1:07 p.m. The fire then escalated to a 4th alarm at about 2 p.m.
168 firefighters and 38 units responded to the scene, FDNY officials said.

The seven firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals. One resident also suffered minor injuries, FDNY officials said.
The fire was placed under control at 2:57 p.m.
