Arrest Made In Deadly BK Bar Stabbing: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged over a deadly stabbing at a bar in Bay Ridge last week, authorities announced Tuesday.
Maurice Hartridge, of the Bronx, is facing manslaughter criminal possession of a weapon charges after he fatally stabbed Daryl Dawkins, 37, of Pennsylvania, earlier this month, police said.
Officers responded to Catch 22 bar at 7221 3rd Ave. just before 3 a.m. on April 7 where Dawkins was found with a stab wound to his torso, Patch previously reported.

Medics rushed Dawkins to NYU Langone Hospital/Brooklyn where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The April 7 stabbing is the first 2024 homicide in the 68th Precinct, which encompasses Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights, according to city stats.
