Atlantic Ave Affordable Housing Deal Closes In: Report
Work on the remaining eight buildings could resume by the end of 2025 if the deal goes well.

BROOKLYN, NY—Construction for the 22-acre affordable housing complex by Barclays Center may resume soon, thanks to a potential new deal with a developer, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Related, the interested company, is a New York development firm known for its work on Hudson Yards.
Plans for Pacific Park — the name of the new complex — include a sports arena and 16 high-rise buildings with thousands of affordable housing units built over the rail yard. So far, only the sports arena (Barclays Center) and eight buildings have been built, according to the Wall Street Journal.
