BK Boy, 11, Shot In Crown Heights: Reports

The boy was shot in the arm, police said.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – An 11-year-old boy was shot in Crown Heights earlier this week, ABC7 New York reported.

The incident occurred on the 300 block of Howard Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday.

The 11-year-old victim was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center and is in stable condition. Police officials at the time did not believe the boy was the intended target, according to ABC7 New York.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday and an investigation remains ongoing.

CBS News reported the boy was with a group of kids when he was accidentally shot.
