BK Man Arrested, Charged For Random Attack On Elderly Woman: NYPD
Bancroft Wright, 46, of Stuyvesant Heights, punched a woman in the face in Fort Greene last month, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged after he punched an elderly woman in the face in an apparent unprovoked attack last month in Fort Greene, police announced.
Bancroft Wright, 46, of Stuyvesant Heights, is facing assault, reckless endangerment and harassment charges, police said.
The incident happened on April 25 at the intersection of Saint Felix Street and Lafayette Avenue at about 9:31 a.m., police said.

A 71-year-old female woman was walking at the intersection of Saint Felix Street & Lafayette Avenue when she was approached by Wright
Wright proceeded to punch the woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, police said.

Wright then fled the scene on foot, heading west on Lafayette Avenue, police said.
