BK Man Killed In Queens Event Venue Shooting, 3 Others Injuried: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A Stuyvesant Heights man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that took place at a Queens event venue last weekend, police announced Monday.
Jefari Dobie, 24, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
The May 4 incident happened at about 1:30 a.m. at 108-11 Atlantic Avenue, police said.

The address is listed as Volume 17.
When officers responded to the scene, they found Dobie, a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg and a 26-year-old man who was shot in the right arm.

EMS transported Dobie to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The 45-year-old man and 26-year-old man were both transported to NY Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
In addition, a 43-year-old man arrived at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by private means with two gunshot wounds to the right arm and one gunshot wound to the left leg. He is listed in stable condition, police said.
There have been no arrests and an investigation remains ongoing.
