BK Man Nabbed In Deadly Motorcycle Crash That Killed Passenger: NYPD
Raytawon Wright lost control of his dirt bike and crashed on the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk in 2022, killing his passenger, police said.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged over a 2022 fatal motorcycle crash on the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk that killed one person, authorities announced Tuesday.
Raytawon Wright, 26, of Crown Heights, is facing manslaughter, assault, leaving the scene, reckless driving charges, among others, after he lost control of his Qipai Hunier dirt bike, struck a bench and a 55-year-old pedestrian on the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk at Beach 47 Street, police said.
The August 29, 2022 collision caused the passenger, identified as David Molina, 26, of Cedarhurst, to be ejected from the vehicle and thrown to the ground, police said.

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced Molina dead. The 55-year-old pedestrian suffered minor head injuries and was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Following the incident, Wright fled on foot, police said.
