BROOKLYN, N.Y.— An 87-year-old woman died in Gravesend when her own vehicle rolled over her Wednesday, <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/04/10/us-news/woman-87-crushed-to-death-by-own-car-after-she-thought-she-parked-it-cops/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The New York Post reported</a>. The woman believed she had parked her car at her home on West 10th Street, but instead left the car in gear, police told The Post EMS rushed the 87-year-old woman to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where she pronounced dead, according to The New York Post. The identity of the woman has not been released pending family notification.
