Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation Seeks Partners to Expand EV Charging Infrastructure
BNYDC issues RFP to enhance the Brooklyn Navy Yard's green economy through EV charging and infrastructure solutions

The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to lease outdoor parking spaces at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for the installation, maintenance and operation of electric vehicle charging stations for tenant and public use. The full RFP is available here.
BNYDC intends to lease up to 20 parking spaces for EV charging dedicated to Brooklyn Navy Yard tenants and an additional 10 spaces designated for public use. As a gated campus with over 550 businesses and 13,000 workers, a diverse transportation network and a robust community of climate-focused tenants, the Brooklyn Navy Yard is uniquely positioned to implement EV charging infrastructure. Its ongoing commitment to sustainability through climate-driven manufacturing, education, research, commercialization and workforce development make it the perfect hub to advance the City’s green economy.
