BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for two burglars who reportedly stole more than $7,000 from a Brooklyn residence last week.

The as-yet-unidentified burglars entered the residential building near in the vicinity of 7th Avenue and 52nd Street by forcing their way through the front door on Nov. 22 around 8:30 p.m., police said.

Once inside, the men stole roughly $7,000, though it wasn’t immediately clear whether it was all cash or included other items, NYPD officials said.

After the heist, the duo took off with their loot on foot, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
