BROOKLYN, NY — A 24-year-old Brownsville man was shot and killed last Sunday, police said. Maurice Boodie was killed after suffering gunshot wounds to the chest and right leg, police said. Officers responded to 2274 Strauss Street at about 12:12 a.m. where they found the wounded 24-year-old man. EMS transported Boodie to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where he later pronounced dead at 1:43 a.m. There have been no arrests at this time and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
