Man Fatally Shot In East Flatbush, 2 Individuals Are In Custody: NYPD

The incident happened on April 27 at the intersection of 54 Street and Church Avenue, police said.

EAST FLATBUSH, NY — A 24-year-old Brooklyn man was shot and killed in East Flatbush last Saturday, police said.

On April 27, at about 8:43 p.m., Daequan Buckley, of Prospect Park, was found by emergency personnel with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen at the intersection of 54 Street and Church Avenue, police said.

EMS transported Buckley to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Two persons of interest were taken into custody as of Monday evening and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
